Borrowed from nature

Delicate wedding bouquets and arrangements created with paper flowers and dried foliage

Cooper Floral Design specialises in beautiful eco-friendly paper flowers, hand crafted by myself, Sharon, in my countryside studio.

I love making bouquets, buttonholes and arrangements for weddings. To help couples fulfil their dreams for their special day and create beautiful pieces. But I’m also passionate about the natural world and the effects we are having upon it. So my bouquets are only made from biodegradable materials – naturally dyed tissue paper flowers and dried local foliage.

The delicate flowers of pastel tones produced from the plant dyes, together with the subtle greens from the dried foliage give the bouquets I create a natural feel and lightness. My exclusive range of flowers will last well beyond your special day, but as they are made from natural materials they can be composted at home when they reach the end of their lives.

All my bouquets are bespoke and made to order just for you. Please browse my website to discover all about my paper flowers, how they are made and images of beautiful bouquets to inspire you.

Cooper Floral Design prides itself on being fully inclusive and LGBT+ friendly, creating realistic and sustainable wedding flowers for everyone.

Please contact me with your enquiries. I except orders for local delivery in Somerset, Devon, Dorset, Wiltshire, Bristol and Bath or postal deliveries within the UK mainland.

Making tissue paper flowers

All the flowers are made from tissue paper coloured with natural plant dyes. These dyes are made in small batches from locally foraged plant materials.

The flowers are hand cut and made using only biodegradable materials for their construction – a rattan stem and flour based glue.

Dried leaves and grasses

The bouquets and arrangements can also contain leaves and grasses which have been carefully dried to keep their shape and colour. They add lovely texture and movement.
